Waffles: Makes about 7 to 12. Ingredients: 2 cups, hannaford all purpose baking mix, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 1/3 cups milk, 1 egg. Directions: Preheat waffle iron according to iron directions. Mix all ingredients together with a fork, wire whisk or hand beater until blended. Do not over mix. Cook according to iron manufactures directions or until steam slows and waffle is golden brown. Remove carefully. Rolled Biscuits: Makes about 8 to 12. Ingredients: 2 cups, hannaford all purpose baking mix, 2/3 cup milk, 2 tbsp melted butter, cooled. Directions: Preheat oven to 450 degree F. Combine ingredients in a medium bowl. Turn dough onto lightly dusted surface, using flour or baking mix. Shape into a ball; Knead gently 10 times. Roll dough to 1/2 - inch thick. Cut with 2 - inch diameter cutter dipped in flour. PLace baking sheet in oven on center rack. Bake for 9 - 13 minutes, or until golden brown. Pancakes: Makes about 12 to 13. Ingredients: 2 cups, hannaford all purpose baking mix, 1 cup milk, 2 eggs. Directions: Preheat lightly greased griddle or non - stick skillet to 375 degree F. Mix all ingredients together with fork, wire whisk or hand beater until blended. Do not over mix. Pour batter in 1/4 cupfuls onto hot griddle or skillet. Cook until pancake bubbles and bottom is golden brown, about 1 minute per side. Turn only once. Strawberry Shortcake: Makes about 5. Ingredients: 2 1/4 cups, hannaford all purpose baking mix,3 tbsp sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 3 tbsp butteror margarine, melted, 3 cups sliced strawberries whipped topping. Directions: Combine baking mix and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add milk and melted butter or margarine; Stir to form a soft dough. Turn dough onto a lighlty floured surface and knead genlty 8 - 10 times. Pat or roll dough 1/2 - inch thick. Cut with 3 - inch floured cutter. PLace on baking sheet 1 inch apart/ Bake at 425 degree F for 10- 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool; top with strawberries and whipped topping. Dumplings: Ingredients: 1 2/3 cups hannaford all purpose baking mix, 2/3 cup milk, 1 tbsp melted butter, cooled. Directions: Combine ingredients in a medium bowl until soft dough is formed. Drop by spoonfuls into boiling soup or stew; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes; cover and simmer 10 minutes more.
