Tips for Using Cassava Flour: Cassava flour is used in gluten-free and grain-free recipes. It is more powdery than other gluten-free flours. Due to its mild nutty flavor, cassava flour is ideal for foods like pancakes and banana bread. In general, cassava flour can be substituted for wheat flour at a 1:1 ratio. Note, cassava flour absorbs more water than wheat flour. Add more liquid than the original wheat recipe requires. Alternatively, you can use slightly less cassava flour.
