French Bread Directions: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheet. Stretch dough to about 12-14 inches long. Place dough, seam side down, on cookie sheet. Cut 4 deep diagonal slashes across top of dough using sharp knife. Bake 26 to 30 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cool 5 minutes before slicing. Italian Style Bread Directions: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease nonstick loaf pan. Place dough, seam side down, in loaf pan. Cut 3 deep diagonal slashes across top of dough using sharp knife. Bake 28 to 32 minutes or until deep golden brown. Cool 5 minutes before slicing. Tip: Egg wash for bread: Mix 1 egg and 1 tbsp water. Brush on top of dough before baking.
