Important: As you consume the cheese and store it, the brine must cover the cheese to keep it tasting fresh. As the water level drops, top it up with water and 6-8% salt. Family Produced: Our feta is produced by third generation family cheesemakers in Peloponnese Greece. Grass Fed Sheep's Milk: Our milk is collected from the shepherds of mount Kyllini and Taygetus in Greece's beautiful Peloponnese region, famous for its unspoiled natural terrain. The milk is sourced during the months of the year when the sheep eat green grass and a wide variety of flora and aromatic herbs that are plentiful in this region. Authentic Feta Cheese can only be produced in certain parts of Greece, from 100% sheep's milk sourced in Greece. Real Feta Cheese cannot be produced from cow's milk, or outside of Greece.
