Cooking Directions: Not ready to eat. For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 165°F. Microwave Steam in Bag: Gently massage the package to separate the frozen product in the bag. Do to pierce the bag; steam vents are already in the packaging. Place unopened bag in microwave with front facing down, keeping the Instruction side up at all times. Microwave on high setting for 4-6 minutes. Bag will expand as steam builds and contract as steam escapes and a sound may be heard. Let stand 1-2 minutes to allow hot steam to escape. Carefully handle bag at sealed ends of the bag corners without turning bag over and remove from microwave. Place bag over serving dish, carefully cut open and pour into serving dish. Caution: Contents are very hot. Always keep back panel facing up to prevent excess moisture from leaking from the back panel steam vents. Because microwaves and stove-tops vary, adjusting cook times and heat settings may be required. Stove top: Bring 1 cup of water to a boil In a saucepan. Add whole package of frozen chopped spinach. Bring to a second boil. Stir, cover, and reduce heat. Simmer 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated thoroughly. Drain. Season to taste and serve. Keep frozen until ready to use. Refrigerate leftovers.
