Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Instructions: Always cook chicken sausage to a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees F using a meat thermometer. Stove Top: Heat a pan to medium temperature. Add 6 Tbsp. water and place chicken sausage in pan. Cover the pan, continue heating for 10-12 minutes, turning the chicken sausage often. Remove the cover and continue cooking for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Cover leftover chicken sausage or place in a closed container.
