Cooking Directions: At Shady Brook Farms, we take pride in producing the finest turkey for you and your family and are honored to be part of your meal. Just follow these steps for a juicy, flavorful turkey breast everyone's going to remember. Prepapration: Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F. Remove refrigerated turkey breast from bag. You're now ready to cook your turkey breast. Roasting: Place turkey breast in a shallow, open roasting pan, skin side up. Cover loosely with foil tent and place in preheated oven. Baste occasionally with pan juices. To brown, remove foil during last 20 minutes of cooking. Allow 1-1.5 hours cooking time (approx. 18-22 min. per lb.). Oven temperatures vary greatly. so cooking times are approximate. Turkey is done when the pop-up timer has popped and a meat thermometer, inserted into the breast and not touching any bone, registers at least 165 degrees F in the deepest part of the breast. Let turkey stand 15-20 minutes before carving. Refrigerate leftovers immediately. Slow Cooker: Place 3 cups of stock or liquid in the bottom of the crockpot. Set temperature to high and allow it to preheat prior to placing the turkey in. Cook for 2.5-3 hours. Turkey breast is done when a meat thermometer, not touching any bone when inserted, registers at least 165 degrees F in the deepest part of the breast. Other Cooking Methods & Additional Tips: We recommend conventional oven roasting, but your Fresh Shady Brook Farms Turkey Breast is also delicious when grilled. Microwaving is not recommended.
