Cooking instructions. Stove top: Measure 1 cup of rice under cold water rinse for 2 minutes or until water runs clear. Slowly bring the 200 g rice and 11/2 cups of water to a boil. As soon as the water has come to a boil turn the heat down to a low setting place lid on and cook for 10-12 minutes. Remove from heat and stand covered for 5-10 minutes. Using a fork loosen the grains before serving. Microwave: measure 1 cup of rice under cold water rinse for 2 minutes or until water runs clear. Place in a microwave safe container 2 cups of water. Place in the microwave with the lid loosely on top and microwave on high (800) for 12 minutes. Leave in the microwave to stand for 5-10 minutes. Using a fork loosen the grains before serving.
