The Sonoma Kitchen Broth Concentrates: We make these broth concentrates with care in small batches at our kitchens in Sonoma Wine Country, using real stocks and other natural ingredients. They are easier to use than pastes, powders and cubes. At only 400 mg. of sodium per serving, our stock concentrates can be used to provide balanced, natural flavor profiles for soups, entrees, gravies, side dishes and other savory recipes.
Directions: Shake well before using as product may settle/separate. Add one teaspoon (6 grams) to 8 oz. of hot water. Recipe for Basic Stock: Combine 1 tsp. concentrate with 1 cup hot water. For larger amounts, use 1 tbsp. for each 3 cups of hot water. Recipe for Soups, Rice, Pasta and other Entrees: Combine basic stock with meat, vegetables, rice and/or pasta as desired. Recipe for Gravies: Combine 1 cup basic stock with 2 tbsp. flour and 2 tbsp. butter, olive oil or pan drippings, season to taste. For savory soup, entree, gravy and side dish recipes. Refrigerate after opening.
