When the time is right, our dedicated farmers harvest cabbage from the field. Our cabbage travels less than 75 miles from the farm to our fermentation facility to be shredded and salted, where we add red beets for a vibrant, earthy flavor. Through the natural process of fermentation, our cabbage transforms into Flanagan Farm sauerkraut. Raw product. Some swelling may occur due to natural fermentation.
